Makati City - In the fourth edition of Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia 2011, Huper Optik Philippines and key industry players in the sustainable green building landscape from Philippines and Singapore came together at New World Hotel last August 17 to discuss developments in green building methodologies.
The briefing was highlighted by a special media preview of the exhibition courtesy of BEX Asia 2011 and International Green Building Conference (IGBC). Huper Optik Philippines, a subsidiary of the LausGroup of Companies, has been chosen as one among 250 international and regional exhibitors for the upcoming BEX Asia 2011 in Singapore.
Head of Operations Bea de Mesa-Mallari for her part spoke on Huper Optik's contribution to the state of the global energy efficiency building performance through its distribution of the Huper Optik advanced nano-ceramic multi-layer window films.
Mallari further expanded on the unparalleled performance of Huper Optik's revolutionary nano-ceramic multi-layer window films, to effectively combat the heat of tropical countries especially in the region. Besides being the first and only patented advanced nano-ceramic window films, it also boasts three times more superior heat rejection and four times lower metallic reflectivity ? which in turn provides for at least 13 degrees Celsius of cooler temperature within applications of commercial and maritime architecture and now in the structural make of automotive.
She also stressed on the importance of Huper Optik's participation on a platform like BEX Asia 2011, this to share and discuss, among other businesses and industry partners, on the various green building solutions present in the region.
Along with Mallari were other speakers - Louise Chua, Project Director for BEX Asia 2011, Dr. Li Siew Mei, Country Director (China) for Building and Construction Authority Singapore, and Felino 'Jun' A. Palafox, Founder and Managing Partner of Palafox Associates - who shared their insights on the green initiatives they have taken to enhance energy efficiency and achieve a sustainable enviroment.
