TARLAC
CITY -- Motor vehicle
enthusiasts in this fast-rising city
will find another hub and landmark to
go for their Mitsubishis as CarWorld
Tarlac moved to its new, bigger and
better location in San Roque and was
inaugurated on Tuesday afternoon.
Dubbed world-class by Mitsubishi Motors
Philippines Corporation (MMPC) top
executives, the fourth CarWorld
showroom and service center -- which
has been serving Tarlac and other
northern provinces since 1981 -- moved
from its 400-square meter office in San
Sebastian, then to a bigger location in
San Nicolas and finally to the
sprawling 3,000-hectare facility in the
heart of the city this year.
CarWorld Tarlac now has an 8-car
showroom and spacious, state-of-the-art
service areas backed up by highly
competent after-sales service and
genuine parts support.
“This is an affirmation of our
position as the largest car dealership
network in the country. Best of all, it
is a reaffirmation of our long
relationship and ‘love
affair’ with the people of
Tarlac. We were right in branching out
to this city and province since our
relationships are driven by synergy of
business and development. We are very
glad to be part in boosting countryside
development here and in raising the bar
as we take the road ahead in delivering
service for another three decades in
Tarlac,” said Laus Group of
Companies Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer Levy P. Laus.
Amazing, impressive
milestone
MMPC
president and CEO Hikosaburo Shibata
branded the CarWorld Tarlac facility as
an amazing, impressive milestone:
“I am pleased to see [that]
CarWorld has now one of the best dealer
facilities in the Philippines here in
Tarlac. We are really amazed by the
size and beauty of this outlet. It is
very impressive to see this new
dealership complete and become a world
class standard facility.”
He furthered: “CarWorld set
their goals very high and we are
confident that they not only achieve
them, but also surpass them. CarWorld
[Tarlac] has been here for decades,
stimulating progress by creating more
business potentials, jobs and economic
opportunities in the region. It is our
obligation to contribute to the
economic development of Tarlac. We are
counting on CarWorld to fulfill this
purpose.”
Taizo Furuhashi, MMPC executive
vice-president for marketing, for his
part said: “The inauguration of
this new Mitsubishi outlet is a very
significant occasion as this represents
progress for the Mitsubishi family as a
whole. We at Mitsubishi Motors
Philippines are truly proud of the
efforts that CarWorld has undertaken to
further elevate Mitsubishi’s
image to world class standard. This is
actually the 14th Mitsubishi outlet
that has been established in conformity
with the New Visual Identity program.
It is exciting to look at these
developments that are positive
indicators of growth and brings us a
lot to look forward to.”
Furuhashi told Sun.Star Pampanga
CarWorld Tarlac is sure to contribute
to the growing sales and trust and
confidence of customers in Mitsubishi.
“Mr. Levy P. Laus is very
dynamic and very determined.
That’s why we at Mitsubishi love
him very much because he makes things
happen. He is the man. Needless to say
that CarWorld is a vital part of this
nationwide dealer network that we are
proud to have as business partners. I
would like to congratulate Mr. Levy P.
Laus and the whole CarWorld family for
again achieving yet another
milestone.
Boon to countryside
development
Tarlac Vice Governor Pearl Pacada,
meanwhile, that with CarWorld’s
lead, many more investments would spur
countryside development in the
province.
“Governor Victor
Yap wants you to know that this
CarWorld facility will definitely spur
more economic gains for the province
and your investment here is a clear
proof that the economic activity in
Tarlac is vibrant. Personally, as I
have been driving Mitsubishi vehicles
for many years now, I could see and I
am certain that your lead will be
followed by other investors and will
help boost development in the province.

Hikosaburo Shibata, Taizo Furuhashi,
LGC chairman and CEO Levy P. Laus
together with Ma. Theresa Laus,
Councilor Allan Manalang, Vice-Governor

Allan Manalang,
Tarlac City Association of Barangay
Captains, councilor and son of Mayor
Gelacio Manalang, corroborated the
vice-governor’s statements and
said: “I have been a customer of
CarWorld for many years now much that I
hang out in the showroom a lot of
times. I got my first Mitsubishi when I
was 16. After 20 years, I found myself
gifting my son with a Mitsubishi just
like my parents did. The city
government’s and all our
barangays’ service vehicles are
all Mitsubishis. Definitely, this
landmark facility and the dedicated and
efficient service of CarWorld will be a
boon to the development of the city.
For that, the people of Tarlac City are
thankful to
