Chevrolet Captiva now made even more spacious with 7-seater model
Passengers can now enjoy the luxury of space and convenience with new Chevrolet Captiva 7-seater.
The new 7-seater Captiva combines the ruggedness of an SUV with the stylishness of a mid-class sedan. It has a number of sophisticated features such as jewelled, three-dimensional headlamps, the turn signals integrated into its exterior mirrors, air intake ports in the front fenders and the grab-type door handles.
Typical SUV elements like the bold wheel arches and protective exterior mouldings and the skid plates in the front and rear round off the eye-catching appearance. This interplay of "rugged/sporty" with "styl-ish/elegant" continues in the interior. The friendly decor displays a modern ambience, good ergonomic characteristics and plenty of comfort features.
The 7-seater Captiva (AWD) is equipped with an ESP system (Electronic Stability Pro-gram) that enhances the vehicle stability during evasive situation. The modern system of AWD Captiva features a number of additional functions such as the Traction Control System, HDCS (Hill Descent Control System) which improves manoeuvring during steep downhill driving.
The 7-seater Captiva brings a 2.0 liter CRDi diesel engine with turbo intercooler that delivers 150ps at 4000 rpm with a torque of 310 Nm at 2000 rpm. The gasoline engine is a 2.4-litre straight four with two overhead camshafts (DOHC), 16-valve cylinder engine that generates 142 ps at 5200 rpm and has a maximum torque of 220 Nm at 4000 rpm.
