Tire City Auto Care Pampanga: Responding to customers’ needs
“We change with our customers in mind.”
This was the resounding note during the simple but momentous inauguration of Tire City Auto Care along MacArthur Highway, Dolores, City of San Fernando.
It was more than an evolution and revolution in motoring as the Laus Group of Companies (LGC)-owned premier tire and service center took on another form to cater to the various needs of sophisticated and demanding customers.
A beaming and proud LGC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Levy P. Laus narrated on the transformation of Goodyear Servitek to the now one-stop auto care shop.
“Tire City is decades old. There is one significant day, the 4 ‘8s’ that we always talk of. This is on August 8, 1988 when Goodyear Servitek was launched to the public. ‘8888’ is a lucky number and this is probably the reason why we have timed the launch of Goodyear Servitek on what they call that lucky day,” Laus revealed.
“And if what you see today is a manifestation of that ‘8888,’ indeed, with confidence, it was. But it’s not about the day but about the people, and about the customers who have supported us through the years,” he said.
Laus disclosed it was “change” with people in mind: “Even in business you have to change your model to be able to respond to the changing times and also to the requirements of your customers. That is why here at Tire City Goodyear Servitek it’s about time. After 22 years, this is the time we made the reformat. From a seemingly exclusive dealer of a specific brand, it’s about time we respond to the specific needs of our customers who asked for other requirements. And this gave us the idea of coming out with Tire City Auto Care to deliver and respond to the requirements of our customers.”
“We change with our customers in mind and this is exactly what we are doing now and what we will do in the future. This is what Tire City is all about. It is about a tire center that will provide the right car, the right tire for you. The right tire, the right parts for the right purpose,” added Laus.
He said that Tire City Auto Care now carries not only Goodyear but equally well known brands like Yokohama, Michelin, Dunlop, Kumho, Toyo and other known brands.
“It is like what we say at LausAutoGroup where we say we have the right car for you,” he quipped.
“We have tires, magwheels and motor oil. And as individuality arose, we at Laus Group responded to accentuate that differentiation. That is why we now have TWG magwheels and very soon Giovanna which is also a leader in the US and throughout the world,” Laus said.
Saying as if it’s not enough, a complementary product, Voltronic Motor Oil is now carried by LGC throughout the Philippines. Voltronic is made in Germany and satisfied customers could attest to the fact that it is very good, he said.
“But more than that, Goodyear Servitek and Tire City Auto Care are icons in servicing and we have proven time and again that we are able to deliver and respond to the needs and expectations of our customers. And we will continue to do our best and do better as we move forward,” Laus concluded.
